Some people find their way to this work through a single defining moment. Mine arrived at fifteen — the first time grief cracked me open and something deeper came through. I didn’t have language for it then. What I had was a sudden, unmistakable sense that life was far more meaningful than I had previously understood, and that I wanted to spend the rest of mine finding out how.
That curiosity has never left. It has just kept finding new forms.
My name is Jeremy Walker — feel free to call me Jer. I’m a certified life coach, a practicing Western astrologer, a software developer, a stained glass artist, a ski mountaineer, and a devoted father and partner. I approach my life as an exploration as much as I do a creation. These things are not separate threads. They are the same thread, running through everything.
In Western astrology, I’m an Aries Sun, Sagittarius Moon, and Taurus Rising.
The long way around
I spent twenty-five years in software development before becoming a coach. By 2017, transiting Pluto had entered my 10th house, and the transformation that planet is known for arrived right on schedule. A series of events I never saw coming dismantled my corporate career, rattled my confidence to its foundations, and initiated a burnout that took years to make sense of.
It was also, eventually, one of the most important things that ever happened to me.
I completed my professional coaching certification with Newfield Network in 2018 — training with Julio Olalla in the ontological coaching tradition — and left my corporate career in 2019 to coach full-time. Through my private practice and Lyra Health, I worked with hundreds of clients across relationships, career transitions, leadership, and emotional intelligence. I also became a developmental coach, deepening my practice through training with Stages International and obtaining my PACT certification with Polarity Partnerships.
All the while, I was a closet astrologer.
Coming out of the closet
Astrology had been a private companion since 2005, when I discovered Third Stage Astrology through the work of Taina Ketola — a system of evolutionary astrology that gave me more insight into the human soul than anything else I had encountered. During my years at Lyra Health, where coaches were required to use only approved evidence-based material, I quietly used Third Stage Astrology to deepen my understanding of clients without being able to share my all of techniques. By the end of my time there, I was achieving a 92% improvement rate with clients.
In 2021, I received a formal diagnosis of level 1 autism at age 45. It explained a great deal — including the burnout of 2017 — and sent me down another years-long rabbit hole of self-discovery that continues to shape my work and my understanding of what it means to live as a differently-wired human being in a world that wasn’t built for you.
I left Lyra Health in 2023. Since then I have been practicing openly as both coach and astrologer, completed my Natal Fundamentals Certificate at Kepler College in 2025, and joined the leadership team at Astrograph Software as lead developer on the TimePassages astrology platform. I co-lead an Autism & Astrology Research Group through the NCGR with Taina Ketola, and I am continuing my studies toward the Kepler Professional Diploma in Astrology. Where things stand now
As of 2026, Pluto is more than halfway through my 10th house — and the transformation it promised is unmistakably underway.
What I offer is the product of a life lived at full depth — through grief, burnout, diagnosis, transformation, and the ongoing practice of staying curious about all of it. If that sounds like the kind of guide you’ve been looking for, I’d love to talk.
